Batamized Lounge Seating 

Inspired by the utilitarian davenport of 50's Americana, this bantamized take on lounge seating aims to combine a sleek and dainty look with the comfort of a full bodied chair.
An apartment-sized profile won't overwhelm those smaller spaces. Wide back loose cushions allow two to sprawl quite independently, while three sit quite intimately. Generously endowed poly-foam and fiber seat cushions, are quite deep relative to the sofa's length, allowing one to lie horizontal without having to “spoon” the sofa back.

The traditional wooden frame craftsmanship has long gone the way of the buffalo in even high-end upholstered furniture. The Neapolitan frame is all hardwood with three bend laminated stretcher. Glue joints are dovetailed, ship-lapped or doweled. The frame is tension webbed with 30 large coil springs, with hand tied lashings—true to the craft. The Neapolitan featured below shows cool Arctic plether (vinyl) and polished chrome legs, that put the lux in luxury minimalist 50's sofa.
